Helping Kids Find Their Voice and Share Their Faith

Creative Communicators is a faith-based public speaking program designed to help children and teens develop communication skills while learning to express what they believe with confidence, creativity, and purpose.

Through four different communication categories, participants have opportunities to explore their gifts, develop their ideas, practice with a coach, and prepare to share their message with an audience.

Whether you are a teacher, Sabbath School leader, children’s ministry leader, or parent, the resources on this page are designed to help you guide children through the process. You don’t need to be a public speaking expert to get started. We’ll give you tools to help you coach them along the way.

How Creative Communicators Works

Creative Communicators is about the process, not just the final presentation. Children grow as communicators as they learn new skills, develop their ideas, practice with someone who encourages them, and finally share what they have created.

LEARN

Help each child choose one of the four communication categories. Using the provided resources, children learn the skills they will need to develop and present their message.

CREATE

Guide children as they develop their own presentations. Their ideas, words, creativity, and faith should shape what they create, while adults provide direction and support along the way.

PRACTICE

Coach children as they practice what they have created. Parents, teachers, or ministry leaders provide encouragement and constructive feedback to help them strengthen their communication and build confidence.

SHARE

Create an opportunity for children to present their work publicly. Invite family, church members, and community guests to hear and celebrate what the children have prepared.

Choose Your Communication Category

Creative Communicators gives children four different ways to develop their public speaking skills while sharing their faith. Each child chooses a category that fits their interests, gifts, and the way they want to communicate. Click on each category image below to download a one-page overview explaining what that category is and what participants will do.
